Lets Teach Every Kid on Long Island How To Code

Learn with kidOYO

CodeLI.org is an effort to bring computational thinking into contact with students of all ages, and families of all types across the Long Island region. Starting in the Fall of 2015, mentors will be bringing their skills and tools to schools with the goal of teaching everyone to code, whether 5 or 105.

CodeLI.org is led by the founders of kidOYO and supported by University partners and School Districts on Long Island who make space, volunteer mentors and even computer lab resources available so that anyone with interest can get involved, regardless of gender, race, economic conditions or learning styles.

Work with professional developers if you want to learn professional methods. As 501(c)(3) non-profit based on Long Island, kidOYO is dedicated to serving our civil infrastructure in public schools. When you can get a better education at a local retail strip mall than you can in your local school, our Society has a problem to solve. Invest in solutions that grow people, and help your staff support methods that will endure even when your staff changes year to year, decade to decade.
